PODD Communication Focus handouts - Gayle Porter, creator of the Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD) Communication system, along with Linda Burkhart, emphasise a key strategy to support communication partners to develop their fluency using PODD - learning the patterns in a graded manner. These handouts were developed by Yvette Theodorsen and adopt this strategy to support communication partners learning to model language with a PODD communication book .

AGOSCI - an inclusive group interested in enhancing the participation of all people with complex communication needs. AGOSCI is a key member organisation focused on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) in Australia, providing education and training, a biennial conference and national tour, state based events, networking and mentoring opportunities, a twice yearly magazine and a online forum (listserv).

Independent Living Centre of WA - The ILC has experienced health professionals on staff to help people to choose and access equipment, technology and services for their independence and wellbeing. They have a Technology and Communication service and provide a range of regular training opportunities in this area.

Activ Learning and Discovery Centre - Activ Library recently merged with Noah's Ark Toy Library to form this new centre located in East Victoria Park. All the specialised toys, resources and professional advice around play for children with special needs previously provided by Noah's Ark can now be found here.

Jane Farrall Consulting - Jane is a speech pathologist and special educator passionate about literacy, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology. On her website, Jane shares a wealth of practical information through her blog, including many invaluable, free resources.
