Interactive Speech Pathology provides a quality speech pathology service to children, adolescents and adults across Perth, with a clinic based in Kardinya.
At Interactive Speech Pathology, we pride ourselves on creating an environment of collaboration and mutual respect. We want your experience with our service to be an 'interactive' one, so we listen to families, educators and other significant people in the lives of the people we work with to ensure our strategies and methods are the best fit for their unique situation. We want to empower people to be 'actively' involved in their speech pathology intervention, as well as in their own lives.
We have extensive experience in providing supports to those with disabilities, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) for those with little or no speech (complex communication needs).
We also provide services in the areas of:
- early speech and language development
- eating and drinking difficulties
- speech sound (articulation) difficulties
- expressive language difficulties
- receptive language (comprehension) difficulties
- social skill development
- literacy development
Services with Interactive Speech Pathology are provided within people's home, schools, in the community and in our clinic setting at the Kulungah-Myah Family Centre in Kardinya, Western Australia. We also provide group sessions and training for schools and community organisations.
